INFORMATION TO KNOW:

Spirit Wear - The online store will open on Mon, 3/9, and will remain open through 3/28.  Click here to order Spirit Wear Order.  Orders will be received approximately 2 weeks after the sale closes and will be distributed at school.  Please call Mike with Admark at 636-887-4870 with any questions.

Crochet Club - The crochet club will meet on Mon, Mar 9, from 3:00 - 4:00 PM.  Supplies needed are a crochet hook and yarn.  Please call the office if you have any questions or if your student would like to join. 

Open Position - Liberty Christian Academy is seeking an Athletic Director for the 2026-27 school year.  This is a full salaried position that may include a part-time teaching assignment.  The position will oversee all aspects of the LCA Athletics Department.  For questions or to express interest in the position, please reach out to Doug Smith at dsmith@lcaeagles.com

Texas Roadhouse Fundraiser - On Tues, Mar 10, the PTO will be sponsoring a Dine to Donate fundraiser at Texas Roadhouse in Wentzville.  If you are planning to eat out that evening, or you’re just looking for a reason to get Texas Roadhouse, please let them know you are supporting LCA and we will receive a portion of the sales.  This applies to Curbside To Go orders also, just be sure to let them know when you place the order. 

Trivia Night - The Senior Class of 2026 is hosting a St. Patrick's Day themed trivia night on Saturday, March 14th starting at 6:00 PM.  Mark your calendars and rally your trivia buddies for an unforgettable night of fun!  Proceeds will benefit the Senior Missions trip.  2026 Trivia Night

Fundraiser for Student Trip to Europe - Help support our student trip to Europe!  From Feb 17 - Mar 20 students will be selling Krispy Kreme gift cards for just $15.  This is a simple (and tasty!) way to support our students.  Please use the Krispy Kreme Order Form to place your order.  Funds raised will help cover travel expenses and give our students the opportunity to experience new cultures, history, and learning beyond the classroom.  If you have any questions, please contact trip coordinator, Shannon McAndrew, at smcandrew@lcaeagles.com.

Athletics - The Spring sports season is now underway!  Girls soccer and track & field practices have started.  If you have not already completed athletic forms for another sport this year, please be sure to complete the required Athletic Forms. You may upload a copy of the physical or send it to school with your student. A current physical must be on file before the first game.

Noon Dismissal - Wednesday, March 4th is a noon dismissal for all students.  There will be no hot lunch served that day.  Please call the office to let us know if your child will be in after care. 

PTO Pizza Lunch Fundraiser – Friday, March 6 is PTO pizza day.  Please remember that PTO Pizza must be pre-ordered, and the LCA hot lunch program is NOT available on PTO Pizza days.  We still have 2 volunteer spots we need to fill.  If you are available to help serve pizza during lunch, this is a fun way to get some service hours.

Athletics - Girls soccer practices will start next Mon, Mar 2.  Practices will begin after school and go until 5:30 pm on Mon, Tues, Thurs & Fridays.  Practices will be at LCA for the first week, then will move over to the Warrenton Athletic Complex.  Please remind your students to dress appropriately for the weather.  They will be outside and it may be cold!

Track & Field practices will start on Tues, Mar 3.  Practices will run from 3:15 - 5:00 PM.  Students will need comfortable clothes and running shoes.  Once track meets begin, athletes will need a pair of multi-event track spikes.  Practices will start out here at LCA and will move to the old Wright City track.  Please pick your student up at 520 Westwoods Dr. at 5:00 PM.

Taco Your Teacher - Student Council has selected 7 teams, each made up of one staff member and two students, to compete in an exciting fundraising challenge! Taco Your Teacher Teams The team that raises the MOST money (along with the students who donated) will get to participate in dumping nacho ingredients!  The team in 2nd place, and the losing team, will have nacho ingredients dumped on them!  The big nacho dumping will take place on Friday, March 6th!

Athletics - Our Varsity Basketball teams will travel to Joplin next week to compete in the MCSAA State Tournament.  They’ve worked incredibly hard all season, and now it’s time to see that hard work pay off!  Please keep them in your prayers as they travel and compete – pray for safety, strength, focus, and good sportsmanship.  Let’s represent our school with pride and cheer them on all the way to a State Championship!  Go Eagles!

Science Fair - Congratulations to the Science Fair Winners!!  The winning projects will be going to the Regional Science Fair in March.

Board/Parent Meeting - On Thurs, Feb 19, LCA will host our Annual Parent Meeting at 6:00 pm in the cafeteria.  An expectation for parents/families, this meeting will provide the opportunity to hear reports concerning many aspects of Liberty Christian Academy, including school finances, athletics, academics, facilities, future plans, and most importantly, Biblical and spiritual growth.  Among other items, the Board will vote to approve the Draft 2026-27 LCA calendar v.4.  The LCA Board will also conduct an open meeting in which numerous items are discussed, some of which will go to a vote.  Please plan to attend.

Science Fair - The Annual LCA Science Fair is fast approaching!  Students should be putting the finishing touches on their projects.  Judging will begin at 8:00 am on Thurs, Feb 12, and the public viewing will be held from 3:30 pm until 7:00 pm on Fri, Feb 13.  We look forward to seeing the students’ hard work on display!

Heartgrams 2026 - Why not celebrate Valentine’s Day with a Heartgram for your favorite student, teacher, staff member or loved one?  LCA Seniors will be selling Heartgrams each morning through Feb 13.  They have a variety of stuffed animals, candy, roses, etc.  Items will be delivered to classrooms on Fri, Feb 13th.  Check out this photo for the selection, and use the linked Heartgram 2026 order form to complete your order.  All proceeds from sales go toward the Senior Missions trip in April.  Thank you for your support!

Heartgrams 2026 - Why not celebrate Valentine’s Day with a Heartgram for your favorite student, teacher, staff member or loved one?  LCA Seniors are selling Heartgrams each morning from Feb 2-13.  They have a variety of stuffed animals, candy, roses, etc.  Items will be delivered on Fri, Feb 13th.  Check out this photo for the selection, and use the linked Heartgram 2026 order form to complete your order.  All proceeds from sales go toward the Senior Missions trip in April.  Thank you for your support!

Science Fair - The Annual LCA Science Fair will be held on Thursday, Feb 12, 2026.  Students are continuing to work on their projects.  Judging will begin at 8:00 am.  Public viewing will be held from 3:30 pm until 7:00 pm on Friday, Feb 13, 2026.  

Service Hours Opportunity - Our Weightlifting and Conditioning Coach has some gym equipment that needs to be moved.  There are several very heavy pieces of equipment that are currently located in Moscow Mills, MO and need to be moved to the new LCA fitness center.  The date has been changed to TOMORROW, Saturday, 1/17, from 9:00 - 11:30 am.  If you have a truck, trailer, or just some strong muscles, your help moving this equipment into our fitness center would be greatly appreciated.  Please email Mrs. Donaldson at cdonaldson@lcaeagles.com if you are interested in helping out.

Revival Week 2025 - From Dec 1-5, all secondary students will participate in a Revival each morning from 8:00 - 9:30 am.  Students will be involved in worship, prayer, and hearing God’s word.  The theme of this year’s revival is “Do Unto Others”, and we will utilize 3 guest speakers for the event - Mr. Smith, Mr. Kameron Bagby, and Mr. King.  The River Oaks Church praise band will be doing the music daily.  We ask that you be praying for this special event, and we welcome parents who want to join, listen, and pray with students.  We want this to be a special time at our school where Christ works in an amazing way to inspire the entire school community and to glorify Him.  Click here for more information:  Revival Week 2025

CEF Christmas Party Club - On Fri, Nov 21, LCA High School students will be leading our 2nd-5th grade students in a gospel-centered celebration of Christ by overseeing and hosting a Christmas-themed party.  To prepare for this event, all high school students will be working with representatives from Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) to train for this task.  CEF will be on hand for 4 days during high school Bible classes to conduct this training.  If any student wants to further participate in this work throughout the community after having been trained, they will be able to do so under CEF and can accrue service hours in the process.  Click here for more information:  Christmas Party Club

Revival Week 2025 - From Dec 1-5, all secondary students will participate in a Revival each morning from 8:00 - 9:30 am.  Students will be involved in worship, prayer, and hearing God’s word.  The theme of this year’s revival is “Do Unto Others”, and we will utilize 3 guest speakers for the event - Mr. Smith, Mr. Kameron Bagby, and Mr. King.  The River Oaks Church praise band will be doing the music daily.  We ask that you be praying for this special event, and we welcome parents who want to join, listen, and pray with students.  We want this to be a special time at our school where Christ works in an amazing way to inspire the entire school community and to glorify Him.  Click here for more information:  Revival Week 2025

2026 LCA Dinner Auction - Preparations for the Auction Dinner are currently under way, and we need your help to make this event a success.  The dinner auction is made possible by everyone’s helping hands, and there are many ways you can help make this year’s auction our most successful yet!  Please pray over the list and see where you fit in.  Check out the important links below.

St. Louis Ambush Home Opener - LCA Soccer Coach, Ken Dildine, will be taking a group of families to the St. Louis Ambush Soccer team’s home opener.  They will face the Kansas City Comets on Fri, Nov 28.  The game will be at the Family Arena in St. Charles at 5:00 pm.  Please contact the athletic office at lcaathletics@lcaeagles.com or (636)-745-0388 if you would like more information.

INFORMATION TO KNOW: 

Spirit Week - Next week, Nov 10-14th, will be Spirit Week.  Everyone is encouraged to participate!  There will be contests and other fun activities going on throughout the week, and the class with the most points at the end of the week will win an ice cream party hosted by the Student Council.  Please see the attached Spirit Week flier for each day’s theme.  On Friday, 11/14, STUCO will be doing face painting before school in Mrs. Groseclose’s art room for $2.

Veterans Day - Our 6-12th graders will be participating in a special Veterans Day Celebration on Tuesday, Nov. 11th, at 8:00 am in the high school cafeteria.  We will gather for a morning of music, devotionals, and fellowship as we honor the brave men and women who have served our country.  All are welcome to attend!  We look forward to sharing this meaningful time of reflection and appreciation with you.

Homecoming Activities - The Homecoming Court Coronation will take place at 5:15 PM on Friday, Nov 14, followed by the varsity basketball games.  The Homecoming Activities will take place on Saturday, Nov 15.  Students should meet in the LCA gym at 5:00 PM. Picture Retakes & Sports Pictures - On Thurs, Nov 13, the photographers will be here taking photos for the yearbook. Students should wear LCA unified dress for these photos.  If your child is a new student, or if they did not get a picture taken in August, they will need to have their photo taken.  If they did get photos in August, and you would like a retake, please be sure to return the first set of pictures.  Use order code 0112XGD to order online at Inter-State.com/order.  Photos of the sports teams will start at 2:30 PM.

Meals of Hope Challenge - We are very happy to announce that we exceeded all of our goals with this fundraiser!  We raised over $6,000.  We had a tie for first place between Anna Klee and Sophia Stephens, so they will both get to enjoy a meal with their favorite teacher.  We also packed approximately $21,312 meals to feed the hungry!  The additional money raised will go to benefit our local food pantry.  

Crochet Club - The crochet club will meet on Weds, 11/12 from 3:00 - 4:00 PM.  Supplies needed are a crochet hook and yarn.  Please call the office if you have any questions or if your student would like to join.

20,000 Meals of Hope Challenge - Our IDES GAP (God Always Provides) fundraiser is ongoing.  Thank you to everyone who has donated.  We are a little over halfway to our goal of $5,000 which will provide 20,000 meals.  Students, staff, and volunteers will join forces at LCA on Weds, Nov 5th to pack the meals.  The student who helps provide the most meals will enjoy a meal with their favorite teacher or staff member.   • On Tues 10/21, we will need 4-6 volunteers from 7:20 - 8:00 am to help with intake of projects as students are arriving at school.

  • We also need 4-6 volunteers to help with judging on Tues from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm.

ACT Exams & WorkKeys Assessments - This year, students will have the option to take either the ACT or the WorkKeys assessment.  The ACT is a college admissions test that measures academic readiness for college.  WorkKeys is a career readiness assessment that measures practical skills needed for success in the workplace. Fitness Class for Adults - We’re excited to announce that Carissa Donaldson, our expert Weightlifting and Conditioning Coach, will be leading a new Strength & Conditioning Class in our state-of-the-art fitness center!  Every Weds from 4:00–5:00 PM, the class focuses on functional fitness to boost strength, mobility, and endurance. Open to all teachers and parents, your first class is completely free!  To join, simply RSVP by texting or calling (636) 297-9571.  

Athletics - If your student is interested in joining our new Cheerleading squad, please have them inquire in the Athletic Office.  Practice is on Wednesdays.

Book Fair - This year’s book fair will be held Tuesday through Thursday, September 16–18.brought to you by Neighborhood Reads LLC, a local book store in Washington, MO.  Be on the lookout for a separate email with all the details! Book Fair flier

Grandparents Day - Thurs, 9/18, will be Grandparents Day at LCA!  Please see the Grandparents Day flier for more information, and click here to RSVP online, or return the RSVP form at the bottom of the flier.  

SYATP – Meet us outside the main entrance of LCA on Wednesday, September 24th for the annual See You at the Pole event at 7:20 AM.  Join us as we stand united to pray for our nation, leaders, school and families.

Crochet Club - The crochet club meets twice per month from 3:00 - 4:00 PM.  Supplies needed are a crochet hook and yarn.  Please call the office if you have any questions or would like to join. 

 LCA Annual Golf Tournament - Golf tournament preparations are in full swing and we need your help.

PTO Meetings - The LCA PTO meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 6:30 pm, and we would love for you to join us.  The next meeting will be on Oct.14th.  We hope to see you there!
