As the summer break begins, we hope your family is enjoying some well-deserved time of rest, fun, and relaxation after a wonderful school year. Summer is a great opportunity to slow down, spend time with loved ones, and recharge for the year ahead. While the school may be a little quieter over the next couple of months, exciting preparations for the upcoming school year are already underway.

As you are cleaning out backpacks, and sports bags for the summer, if you happen across any items marked LCA on the tag, we kindly ask that you return them to the school nurse at your earliest convenience. Student Athletic Training - If your student-athlete is looking for a great way to stay active and in shape over the summer, athletic training will be offered during June and July through Donaldson Fitness! Training sessions will take place in the LCA fitness room on Tuesdays and Thursdays. MS/HS girls will train from 10:30–11:30 am, and MS/HS boys from 11:30 am–12:30 pm. The cost is $50 for the full 8-week session. Please complete the Student Athletic Training Registration form to register your student.
TeacherEase Unavailable - TeacherEase is temporarily unavailable as teachers finalize student scores and grades for the school year. We will send out a notification as soon as the system is reopened and ready for access. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we complete this important process.
Service Hours Opportunities - Do you need to complete service hours for the 2025–26 school year, or want to get a head start on earning hours for 2026–27? We will be working on a variety of projects around the school throughout the summer and would appreciate your help. Opportunities may include painting, flooring projects, basic data entry, and other campus improvement tasks. Beginning around July 6, we will also need assistance moving desks and chairs back into classrooms and helping prepare the campus for the new school year. If you are interested in helping, please contact Tyler King at facilities@lcaeagles.com to make arrangements.
Library Books Needed - Looking to declutter over the summer? The LCA Library would love to accept your book donations. We are seeking books in good condition that are appropriate for students in Pre-K through 12th grade and do not contain objectionable or inappropriate content. The library will be open for donations during the week of May 18–22, or donations may be arranged by appointment throughout the summer. Athletics - Summer practices for JV and varsity girls volleyball, and boys and girls basketball, will begin on Monday, 6/1/26. Bus Driver Needed - LCA Athletics is looking for a volunteer bus driver for the upcoming school year! Requirements are: a valid Class B CDL, with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements.
