INFORMATION TO KNOW:
Crochet Club - The crochet club will meet on Mon, Feb 9, from 3:00 - 4:00 PM. Supplies needed are a crochet hook and yarn. We hope you can join us for an hour of fun and creativity with crocheting. Please pick up your child at 4:00 pm from the 4th grade classroom. If you have any questions, please call the office.
PTO Meeting - Please note that the date for the next LCA PTO meeting has been changed. The meeting will take place on Tues, 2/17, at 6:30 pm in the cafeteria. Please join us if you would like to get involved.
Science Fair - The Annual LCA Science Fair is fast approaching! Students should be putting the finishing touches on their projects. Judging will begin at 8:00 am on Thurs, Feb 12, and the public viewing will be held from 3:30 pm until 7:00 pm on Fri, Feb 13. We look forward to seeing the students’ hard work on display!
Heartgrams 2026 - Why not celebrate Valentine’s Day with a Heartgram for your favorite student, teacher, staff member or loved one? LCA Seniors will be selling Heartgrams each morning through Feb 13. They have a variety of stuffed animals, candy, roses, etc. Items will be delivered to classrooms on Fri, Feb 13th. Check out this photo for the selection, and use the linked Heartgram 2026 order form to complete your order. All proceeds from sales go toward the Senior Missions trip in April. Thank you for your support!
LCA Valentine Date Night - Our 2026 Senior Class is excited to invite you to our Valentine’s Date Night daycare. On Sat, Feb 14, from 4-8:00 PM, enjoy a date night out with your Valentine, while your kids enjoy a fun-filled night hosted by our seniors. Dinner and activities will be provided. Board/Parent Meeting - On Thurs, Feb 19, LCA will host our Annual Parent Meeting at 6:00 pm in the cafeteria. An expectation for parents/families, this meeting will provide the opportunity to hear reports concerning many aspects of Liberty Christian Academy, including school finances, athletics, academics, facilities, future plans, and most importantly, Biblical and spiritual growth. Among other items, the Board will vote to approve the Draft 2026-27 LCA calendar v.4. The LCA Board will also conduct an open meeting in which numerous items are discussed, some of which will go to a vote.
Open Position - LCA is in search of a temporary administrative office assistant to work 8:00 am - 4:00 pm Monday-Thursday from June 1 - June 25. If interested or if you have questions, please email Mr. Smith at dsmith@lcaeagles.com. This would come with paid training the week prior.
STL Ambush Soccer Fundraiser - The St. Louis Ambush is hosting their first annual Non-Profit Appreciation Night on Sun, Mar 1, which is also their annual Star Wars Night. 2026 LCA Dinner Auction - Preparations for the Auction Dinner are currently under way, and we need your help to make this event a success. Athletics - The Varsity basketball teams will be playing in the Metro Athletic Conference (MAC) Tournament this week. Dates and times for the game will be announced as the tournament progresses.
