INFORMATION TO KNOW:
Work Day-We will be having a Work Day on Saturday, February 3rd from 8:00 AM- 2:00 PM. We will be cleaning out the north building in preparation for its demolition and construction of our new facility. This is a great way to get your service hours completed at one time.
Lost and Found – Our Lost and Found is overflowing with coats and other clothing. If your child is missing some clothes, please check the Lost and Found located in the office.
Policy Change – Please see the attached new Hazing Policy which has been added to the Student Handbook, effective immediately.
Box Tops – THANK YOU to everyone who brought in Box Tops this fall! We received a check for $217!
Board Openings – There are several open board positions for the 2018-19 school year. Please see separate email for further information.
Custodial – We are looking for someone to clean the bathrooms on January 23rd and 24th. If you are able to do this for service hours or to donate your time, please contact the office. We would prefer that they be cleaned after 2 PM.
Amazon Smile –Did you know when you use Amazon Smile, Amazon will donate 0.5% of the price of eligible purchases to LCA! So shop away and let’s bless the school.
Shoparoo is an AMAZING app that helps us raise money for the school. To use, just download the app and select LCA as your school. Then, when you get a receipt, open the app and take a picture of it. We receive points based upon the amount totals. Shoparoo then sends LCA a check based upon the number of points. It is such an EASY way to help raise money for LCA.
Service Hours – Just a friendly reminder that 7th & 8th Grade students need to complete 10 service hours and 9th – 12th Grade students need to complete 20 service hours by the end of the school year. Half of these hours may be done outside LCA. The forms for outside LCA service hours can be obtained in the office.
Also, all families are required to work 20 service hours at LCA. Any additional service hours due to student tardiness will be in addition to the required hours.
