PTO Fundraiser – You were given information for Bobo’s Pizza at conferences for the PTO Fundraiser for Technology.  Orders are due by November 17th.
 
Food Drive – We are again partnering with the Wright City Firefighters to collect food for area needy families.  The class that brings in the most non-perishable or canned goods will receive a pizza party and dodgeball game with the firefighters.  Food will be collected until Friday, November 18th.     
 
Warren County Memorial Wall – This is the last week to collect coins for the Memorial Wall.  Do you want to see Mr. Spencer’s hair get cut by a student, Mrs. Pitman have rainbow hair, Mr. Williams have a salad made on his head?  The teacher who has the most coins in their bucket by November 11th will be the good-sported winner.
 
Soccer Pictures – Soccer pictures were sent home this week.  Be sure to check your child’s backpack.
 
Honor Roll – Attached is the list of the Honor Roll students for 1st Quarter.  Congratulations, students, on working so hard this quarter!
 
Lift – Our flag is stuck in the flag pole pulley.  If you have access to a lift, please contact the school office. 
 
Homecoming Week – These are the theme days for Homecoming week.  Your child may choose to participate in these themes or dress in unified dress code.

Golf Tournament - A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who helped.  We could not have done it without you!  We were able to raise $13,500!!

Parent Teacher Conferences are scheduled for Thursday, the 27th, and Friday, the 28th.  We will dismiss at NOON on Thursday.  AFTERCARE WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE.  Please be sure to schedule a time with your student’s teacher to discuss his/her progress.   Parents of 7th-12th grade students who wish to speak with a teacher not on their conference team should send a note via email to the school office.

18 NORTH CENTRAL – 30 minutes of laser tag and 30 minutes of cybersports can be yours for only $15!  The Girls Basketball Team is selling tickets to raise money for new uniforms.  The event will be held Thursday, September 29th from 5 PM – 9 PM for anyone in grades 7 and up (Parents may play, too).  Contact a Girls Basketball Player or the office for more information or to purchase your ticket.  We receive 100 percent profit of the ticket purchase and 18 North Central will receive profits from their concession area so come hungry!
 
SOCCER – We are in great need of adults to help coach soccer.  If you are able to help on Monday and/or Tuesday, please reply to this email.  Your time will count towards Service Hours.

CEF PARTY CLUB – Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) is hosting a Party Club after school on Thursday, September 15th for students in Kindergarten through 6th grade.  Please see the attached forms for more information and to register your child.  Form is due by Tuesday, the 13th.

UNIFIED DRESS CODE REMINDER – Per our handbook, skirts and shorts must come to the knee.  Please check your student’s skirts and shorts to be sure they are in dress code.  The only exception is gym shorts for PE that may be 3 inches above the knee.

WORK DAY – We have scheduled 2 Saturday work days – August 6th and August 13th.  In order for a successful start of school, we need YOUR help. This is also a great way to get a jump start on those service hours!    Please call or email the office to let us know which day you are available to help.  So we don’t miss anyone, we will be contacting families to schedule a time. If you would like to help on additional days, please contact the office for more information. THANK YOU for all of you who have already helped throughout the summer.

INFORMATION TO KNOW

TALENT SHOW – This year’s talent show will be held Wednesday, May 25th, at 10:30 AM.  Parents are invited.  
 
FIELD DAY - We will be allowing students to have a free dress down day on Wednesday.  Please follow AHED dress code (shorts must be 3 inches or less above the knee, no leggings unless under shorts, and no tank tops).

FIELD DAY – On Wednesday, May 25th, at the conclusion of Field Day (approximately 1:00), we will have a Blue Bunny Ice Cream truck on campus.  The prices range from $1-$4.75.  What a great way to cool off after Field Day!
 
YEARBOOK – Yearbooks are on sale!  They cost $38, and orders are due by May 26.  An order form is attached. Also, if you would like to advertise your business, please contact Mrs. Wilgus for more information.
