A Message from the Athletic Director, Mr. Butch Clark:

The athletic department of Liberty Christian Academy is dedicated to enriching the lives of its student-athletes through sports.  LCA athletic teams continue to prove that hard work and dedication translates to success on the court.  Beyond athletic achievement, the focal point of the program is seeing our student-athletes represent the character of Christ.  As we play in gyms throughout the state, we want everyone watching to witness boys and girls who play with passion and purpose.

The purpose of the athletic program is to provide an avenue for developing Christian character through organized athletic competition.  The program strives to promote the image of the school in the community through excellence in the sports program and being a positive Christian witness.  We have expectations at LCA that rival those of larger schools.  We do not use our school size as an excuse, but as an opportunity for our students to play a sport they love with people they respect.  Our student athletes not only excel on the court, but also in the classroom as our athletes have attended Indiana Wesleyan, College of the Ozarks, Oklahoma Wesleyan, Lindenwood University, Missouri Baptist, Missouri State, and Missouri University.

Liberty Christian Academy is a member of the Metro Athletic Conference (MAC) and Missouri Christian Schools Athletic Association (MCSAA).  In 2007, our boys and girls basketball teams both were MCSAA Class 2 State Champions.

Current Athletic Opportunities:

LCA has organized sports for girls and boys in the areas of volleyball and basketball.  For girls volleyball is played in the fall, while boy's Volleyball or Baseball is in the spring after basketball season.  Golf has been offered as a Spring, after-school club for both boys and girls. A cheerleading club has also been offered during the basketball seasons.

Currently, our students in 7th - 12th grades are training for a 5K in October.
